It amazes me that anybody could contemplate casting a vote for a candidate who is unable to express a cohesive sentence, but people do...all the time. Jesus wept, what a numpty!
My position is vote Hillary in and spend 4 years trying to find some presidential candidates.Hillary is a great example of a modern day 'career politician' and no matter how 'slippery' and 'establishment' we think these types are. It does not mean we have to act like petulant teenagers and rally behind some 'barn pot' or other because we want to show the world we care and or we are different!
History has had it share of 'parn pots' in the past, elected by even more barn pots whose only rationale was 'we have had enough' and or 'we want a change'.
If you want examples of your average 'barn pot' look no further than some of the speakers at the Trump rallies and the Labour "Party" 'convergence' in Liverpool. These examples are only being used because the are recent sightings of this creature. They are though to seen in many different locations throughout the planet.
My position is vote her in and then impeach as soon as possible (likely to be about 5 or 6 weeks on her form). My position is vote Hillary in and spend 4 years trying to find some presidential candidates.
But I suspect some may take a similar view, except Trump is the signal that when you come back in 4 years we want something credible, not just a brick from the Whitehouse
I don't think there's a lot of swing vote to go at this year. The difference will be turnout. I suspect there will be a very low turnout this year and that most neutrals will stay away.BobbyJo would be voting Repuglian anyway!
Agree re; turnout and with the PR/electoral college system it could make it interesting.I don't think there's a lot of swing vote to go at this year. The difference will be turnout. I suspect there will be a very low turnout this year and that most neutrals will stay away.
I don't think either candidate has particularly enthused their core base so appealing to that at this point is probably clever.
BoobyJo is a macaron and can only understand other macarons, so you are right on this. He/she/it will vote Trump no matter what comes out of his mouth. Most of it is gobbledygook but they'll recognise enough words to be convinced he said something meaningful. Those votes are dead to the democrats and are not even worth fighting for.very good performance by Trump, Great angle by his team posting himself as the "outsider" while she is the establishment politician who just talks a good game. Trump solidified his base with his antics and whilst all the news organizations will say Clinton won the debate and she's obviously more articulate, qualified, knowledgable etc, BobbyJo from Louisiana will trust Trump over Clinton 100 times out of 100
Trump doesn't seem to have any thought out strategy on anything really or at least can't articulate it beyond his usual hyperbole.
The South Park version of the election currently running is hilarious as always. Sadly 95% of all Americans probably don't even realise they're being made fun of.
I reckon most if not all of the fans at the Ryder Cup the past three days will 100% vote for Trump
