Joe Biden is not being entirely honest here but then he is a politician on the campaign trail.
A simple check up on factcheck.org or the CDC website itself, would show you that the CDC funding that Biden is claiming was cut, was actually a 5-year supplement to the annual funding that the CDC already receives. The 5 year supplement, which ran from 2014 ending in September 2019 was in response to the Ebola outbreak ...Trump has been increasing the CDC's annual funding year on year on and has proposed record annual increases to it's annual budget..
Trump's eagerness to do the trade deal with China on the back of his trust in the CCP and The WHO with regards to Covid-19, I agree, is something he should be criticised for... It's clear to all unbiased minds looking in, that he's been set up by that particular communist pact...For the first time in 30 years or more, the Chinese economy shrank and by a staggering 6.5%.. Trump in the White House was hurting the Chinese! Leaves an enquiring mind to ask if the timing of this pandemic is all coincidental does it not?

Had the Democrats chosen Tulsi Gabbard then maybe that's an option I would've considered..But they've gone with Joe Biden who is a fanatic for open borders and is fine with the regime change policies that Obama and Hillary Clinton espoused.
His health is also something to consider..In 1988, Biden suffered two brain aneurysms, one on the right side and one on the left. Each required surgery with high risk of long-term impact on brain functionality.
I'm not american so don't get to vote but yeah, I'll be hoping that they stick with Donald J Trump...

Not a Yank either. Canadian, who has worked across the US most of the past 30 years. For the most part, I meet great people. And I don't use that word, great, blithely, either. Bright, friendly, competitive, compassionate. But I've also met the racists, the willfully ignorant, the selfish, greedy, grasping fcukwits that don't understand the need to work hard to keep improving. The sort of folk who drop the n-word as casually as they draw breath. They've got guns, too. They think they'll eventually just take by force whatever they need.
Trump's 'great evil' has been to impower this group, polarize and amplify their misguided views while working to maintain a manipulated political process.
Here in Canada, we're grieving the deaths of 23 innocent souls to the most American of crimes - a run-amok shooter. Trump's right wing views might earn him votes with the proud, the few, the witless. But if he were to be re-elected, the rest of the world will reward America in days to come with the harshest of rewards - blanking. Here in Canada, the growth of extreme right-wing views is about to undergo a serious shrivelling. Globally, America's image will diminish.
No one - bar Putin - will want to visit the States on a holiday, a country where tourism has a huge impact. Seriously, I can be across the border in 90 mins. Not a fcukin' chance I spend nickel one in that place with him in charge and his barking droogs running the place. And I know many of America's closest neighbours, citizens of America's single largest trading partner, share that view.
That place, comin' like a ghost town. We'll leave it to themselves to stew in their own corrosive juices. And play golf.

But if we’re honest, using right wing popularist rhetoric has been a cheap way to win support from the masses for a long time. Even in the UK there has been a wiff of it from this government. People like a ‘no nonsense’, hard approach, and not all of that is bad. Trump was not the first nor will he be the last to get easy votes by appealing to people in this crude way.
But outside of legitimising racists, I don’t think his actions have been particularly different to other US presidents; possibly even less dramatic and controversial than many of his predecessors, if you strip out the tweets and guff and focus on actions.

By no means is this list intended to be comprehensive, i have things to do today, however;
- Sexually assaulted women and admitted to it.
- Cheated on his wife who had just had a baby with a porn star called Stormy.
- Thrown fuel on the far right’s fire for power by constantly blaming Latin Americans for the problems in the US.
- Weaponising immigration, despite the clear need for immigrants during this crisis to undertake healthcare, supermarket, delivery jobs.
- Being stupid enough to think building a wall will stop Mexicans (who are tunnel experts) in getting over the border.
- Withdrawn from the Paris Climate Change agreement.
- Turned media briefings into campaign rallies.
- Lied to the public approximately 20,000 times in a year, but so consistently it is now par for the course.
- Cheats at golf.
- Fathered an absolute fcuktard and named him after himself albeit with a Jnr at the end.
- Advocate the second amendment rights for Virginian rednecks during this current crisis. NRA links and funding.
- Claims he’s religious all of a sudden now he’s POTUS but no prior evidence of this.
- Having the mental capacity of a child but refusing to trust in the many intelligent people around him.
- Putting his jewish son in law, Kushner in charge of the middle east peace deal.
- Getting away being impeached due to partisan voting in the House, Ukraine scandal, whereby he was clearly at fault.
- Talking down to female journalists , particularly those from ethnic minorities.
- Being unable to competently read English from speech notes or a teleprompter despite being 72 years old.
- Makes out he's a successful businessman but wont share his tax returns under executive privilege.
- Former friend of Jeffrey Epstein, Rocketman, Harvey Weinstein not to mention GOP scum like Mitch McConnell.

Nobody acts because it's both impossible and pointless (in the short to medium term).
Impossible:
So you raise the bill to control guns. You might, might just get that through the house but it's unlikely. A lot of Dems are from states where they see gun ownership as an indisputable right and they won't vote for you.
Assuming you scrape through the House, you'll lose in the Senate. That's GOP controlled and they will laugh you out of the room.
Even if you do get through the Senate and the backlash of public opinion calling for you to veto the bill it won't matter anyway. Within days, Bucktoothed Bobby fudgenut from bricksville, Wyoming gets contacted by one o' them smart talkin lawyer types and claims your law is inhibiting his rights under the second amendment. The Tenth Circuit fast tracks the case straight up to the SC who immediately confirms the decision from the lower court and rules your law illegal.
Pointless:
Even if you manage some miracle and get all the political people (and now the SC is included in that) to agree with your law, all you do is make the law abiding types give up their guns.
Criminals who actually use guns to hurt people don't care if their gun is illegal or not - possession of a firearm on top of 1st degree murder means nothing. There's now a burgeoning black/grey market in guns because people will still want them and now you have even less control of them than you did before. All of those honest, hard working types who genuinely only kept a gun for self-defence and would genuinely only have used it to shoot someone threatening themselves and their family, no longer have a method of defence against the criminals who are still carrying guns.
It's far too late to make a difference in any meaningful way. By the time we can make a difference, guns will probably be obsolete as weapons.

See Australia as a successful gun reform example. People still have guns, but they have to be kept locked up etc. I am sure you are right about the challenges, but when people are being mown down regularly, kids in schools, you don't give up. You find a way, you make it happen.
