People are rightfully afraid of a war with Iran after what has happened in the past, but warfare has changed significantly since then. Drones can take out an airport or SAM site with no risk to life at all.
 
Anyone get the feeling looking at Bernie that if he wins this election he’s simply won it for Ocasio-Cortez?

Difficult to imagine him lasting the whole term - least not healthily.

It would certainly be sensible tax planning for anyone based in the US to make a lot of sudden, loud noises around him.

Sanders isn't going to win the election, not a hope. This is America, we don't do socialism.

I think he would lose too, to be honest. I like him and a lot of what he says, but he is marmite, even to democrats it would appear. His supporters are a little too vociferous in their opinions and amazingly even after the complete brickshow of the Trump presidency, there are those in his ranks that would still vote for Trump if Bernie was not running. That doesn't make much sense.
 
the dems area going with their tried and trusted method of who can be the most left wing to appeal to their very narrow base, then they will attempt to go mainstream once chosen as the nominee, but looking at the choices, it reminds me of Brewster's millions, "Vote for none of the Above"

I’d imagine he’s a Democratic Socialist whose presenting the manifesto of a Social Democrat just to make it palatable for how right wing America is.
