Michael Carrick
Official debut = own thread on here

Great interview with Alfie on the OS.

Always fantastic to have one of our own coming through.

Was so chuffed to see this lad make that full debut. As the article said he sat on the bench 11 times last season and has chalked up 3 more benches this season before finally getting on the pitch. As was discussed on the podcast, Davies could be back as early as this weekend. That means that Alfie could have been waiting a while longer.

I hope he gets a start in the FA Cup.

Absolutely great to see an academy player getting game time for us.

Probably a loan next for him at some point in the not too distant future. Going by Ange's decisions he's some way off first team football here. But great to see him get some minutes none the less.

Him, Dragusin and Vuscovic are all big units. Our set piece weakness should therefore hopefully fade through the second half of this decade, whichever of them partners vdV.
Sanchez was a big lad but was as tough as a wet paper bag I hope you are right on t his occasion but i suspect our set piece dilemma is down more to the system rather than the personnel currently

Didn't look special but didn't look nervous but did give away the ball in a dangerous position soon after he came on.
He has to be thankful it was Forster in goal - Vicario would have chewed his head off
