It looks like the shadow of the right side of the ball is on the line, so I think there’s a chance it’s not fully over as well, but why aren’t they showing the pictures of that, VAR must have seen a more conclusive picture than they’re showing us?The ball is not fully over the line, not sure where the controversy is.
That picture shows the goal post behind the goal line, who would trust anything FIFA said?

Gets my voteKlopp to Germany?
Japan 17.7% possession and win. Mourinho would be proud of that
What picture are you talking about? There's no 'chance' about it, it just isn't over the line in the picture. I mean it's a close you're likely to see but the curve of the ball is over the line

I don’t think there’s anyway anyone can be sure based on that tv footage. It looked very close and you can guess that it might be ok, but sure? No chance. It’s literally 1 mm.The one ITV kept showing, not sure if it's the same one as in the tweet Marky posted or not but I'm yet to see one that doesn't show it in.
Edit : sorry, originally refering to the tv images as shown on itv coverage and the last post was in relation to the one in marks post with the twitter link

I think the computer image will wind up showing considerably more over the line than what has been shown in the images so far as the perspective is from behind slightly - the fact that with that perspective it still shows the ball as being over the line, however slight, should allow you/us to make the adjustment in our heads for perspective (the more the camera swivels towards the goal line, the more the ball will slow to be be over) it's not going to show the opposite.
If the pic in Marky's tweet is taken at the right time (ie there was no further travel on the ball), then it looks in. You'd be pretty sick if that was the difference between your team going through or not though.
Can they track the ball accurately everywhere on the pitch now?
Thats still not the first angle everybody saw on tv, it looked off and was clear daylight.
