Messi is obviously brilliant and capable of such things, but he's scored pretty much that exact goal 200 times before.

Maradona suffered no worse on that score than Lineker, so i don't see the point.

The problem with that analysis,as I have already stated is that Hurst would not have known that it didn''t go in and he didn't deliberately hit the cross bar for the ball to come down on the line to claim a goal.

I think he did, you always know don’t you, from the second it’s left your foot.
 
That's weird, I thought Rossi lead Italy to the 1982 World Cup title in 1997, I'm glad they clarified that.
