Bob Willis has passed away. Really shocked and saddened by this, I didn't realise he'd been ill. I never saw him play but he was probably my favourite cricket pundit, the coverage won't be the same without him.

Seems wrong to like your post but agree about what you say. I'm old enough to have watched him come tearing in to bowl from virtually on the boundary, thought he was a bit of a loon!
Great ashes series of 1981 in which he peaked, will be a big loss to the sky cricket punditry. RIP Bob.

He was a big Dylan fan and had the hair, but wanted more, so he changed his middle name to Dylan. Who will forget his 8 for in the 81 Headingley test that ultimately won the match after Botham's heroics? I was so amazed by that bowling effort as a teen.
