    Ange in or out?

No one ever said it was However in the context of the conversation that calling someone a fat clam is the same as a black clam the scenarios are very different. As far as I’m aware there have been no mass calls for fat people to fudge off back to where they came from or all the proper Londoners...

    Ange in or out?

I think the issue is if your are called a black clam for example it’s the fact that you are in all likelihood in the company of someone who hates you because of your ethnicity. Which is racism

    Ange in or out?

This is a pretty uncomfortable accusation you are going with there.

    Ange in or out?

I think you are showing a fundamental lack of understanding about racism here. Enoch’s Powell’s rivers of blood speech wasn’t about an influx of ginger people or big noses

Contingency planning : When Ange is sacked, who should replace him?

There is always going to be inherent issues when comparing different eras. However in term of their competency in the job, it’s not a stretch to see that Postecoglu reign is comparable to someone like Gross, if not even worse given the spending, personnel and state of the club under his reign

    Ange in or out?

Yes and I think it was implicit what it meant. No need for a caveat
  7. RigorMortis

    Ange in or out?

Exactly particularly after it came out a few weeks after a first half capitulation against Arsenal

    Ange in or out?

I would agree with that. His results show that at a certain level he has proven to be competent. That’s not the level he is currently employed at and i think the criticism he gets aligns to the level he is currently working at

    Ange in or out?

Maybe reword it as the wrong temprement to operate at this level. I do have sympathy for Ange here but he simply has reacted to managing times in an negative manner and without the results to back it up it does open the door for crticism

    Ange in or out?

Has he had the level of scrutiny he has had here? I don’t agree with some of the abuse he has had ( not the leicster one though which wasn’t that bad) but it’s not different to other managers under pressure and others have had it much worse. He should show self restraint particularly when he...

    Ange in or out?

I would say the way we got pulled apart by galatasary and our abject performance against AZ in the first leg, we also got outplayed by Rangers and drew with Roma at home. We have not been as utterly abject as we have in the league but there’s nothing to fill us with confidence that when we come...

    Ange in or out?

Yes we had a good albeit lucky first ten games

    Ange in or out?

of course it doesn’t sit entirely with him, does a lot of the blame lie with him given the brickshow we have seen after those first ten games, absolutely
  14. RigorMortis

    Ange in or out?

You think those managers would have us floundering in the lower half of the table like this And lest we forget this run of form has been ongoing more or less since those first ten games

Contingency planning : When Ange is sacked, who should replace him?

Indeed I’m struggling to think of managers who have gone back and been a success second time around at least in the premier league/england. Ancelotti is the obvious example with Real Madrid I guess Mourinho did it second time with Chelsea but he was arguably on a downward curve and that season...

I don’t think the media have been pushing an anti aussie agenda but definately that’s been there in some of the fans.Like i said it’s not xenophobia but a just a general feeling that australia isn’t a footballing country so why is he here. End of the day he hasn’t covered himself in any glory...

    Ange in or out?

I honestly thought that if we beat Liverpool, I would take a step back, what could get better than this. I went to a live podcast of the spurs show in Madrid on the Saturday morning of the game, Damien commolli and Norman Jay were the guests, I got to say Norman made me believe. I was crushed...

    Ange in or out?

I think it’s a tough one, he was definately much chirpier when things were going well and then increasingly became more defensive and at times quite unlikeable as the performances have worsened. There is a degree of his nationality playing a part in this, I think it’s more because the general...

    Ange in or out?

Ha I do know one thing that has affected me is now living 7-8 hours ahead of England, waking up to watch a spurs game at 4am and then showering and going to work after a loss, means I stew over it far more than I did back home. I do think my intolerance of Ange has probably been affected by thst...

tbf there’s a longer clip where the same fan says “what the fudge is that, you knobhead” and he rears to that rather than the comment on the posted video. Probably still needs to exercise self control but the fan comment isn’t as harmless as it seemed
