    Ange in or out?

Don't you all realize we played in midweek and now you want the team to perform at the weekend? Respect!

    Micky van de Ven

And that must mean Ange is going to be faultless for the rest of season as well, I guess?

    Tottenham Hotspur V Aston Villa

Not a dig at you but Jesus when was the last time the bar was so low? The managers before Ange didn't get the sack for fear of relegation.

    Injuries

AFAIK only Man utd and us played 9 games across all competitions in December, unless you also count Arsenal who played their league game on 30 Nov instead of 1 Dec like many others (including us) did.

    Ange in or out?

I have no idea how we should have set up but for starters it's definitely not a lost 99 of a 100 games. Their league record this season is 12 wins, 3 draws and 1 loss in 16 games - a win ratio of 75%. FFS Ange can't do it doesn't mean others can't do it!

    Djed Spence

Because Ange sounds a bit dodgy on him, no? "Djed has had to bide his time. To be fair, it's the one area of the pitch where we've had cover this year with Archie playing at right-back, so he's had to be patient."

    Djed Spence

Tonight just shows how criminal Ange has been in mismanaging him. Udogie's injury could have been avoided if there is more rotation against lesser opposition. The question is after tonight is he still going to treat him like a fringe player or not. I really don't know.

    ** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Southampton ** Sunday 15 December 7pm.

Definitely thought it's going to be Kulu tucked in midfield and another Porro start considering what he has been doing so far.

Bergvall and Spence start. Didn't see that coming.

    Ange in or out?

To be fair any manager can look clueless with key players out. You just need to look at Pep and earlier Arteta for examples. The key question is has he shown enough to earn more time and whether the injuries are just down to bad luck or something else and not his play style. I am not convinced...

    Squad minutes

Which goes to the other point I wanted to say but decided to keep it to others to interpret themselves - Angeball won't get you very far into the season because of the intensity required. It won't last too long if all you are doing is asking your players to go gung-ho week in week out?

    Squad minutes

There is so much going on about how the squad is too thin and with the injuries we have Ange is running players to the ground. Somehow I think there is something not quite right here. And I got some free time to spare so I think I should just make a comparison of their playing time against other...

    Timo Werner

That's not too bad but to be fair he was playing against tired legs at the dying minutes

    Djed Spence

I would add it's exactly the kind of game we struggled last few seasons that got us kicked out of the cup competitions.

    Djed Spence

With Odobert out for a while, anyone fancies Spence as an impact sub on the wings? I won't hold my breathe on this one though. It doesn't sound like something Ange would try.

    Wilson Odobert

That reminds me a bit of Aaron Lennon. Well at least he is good at both feet.

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Everton FC ***

I didn't mention potential. I didn't say he was bad I said he was marginally better than Johnson. He may have room for improvement but in this game alone it was an ok performance. A 6 out of 10 for me.

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Everton FC ***

He is still reasonably quick. What I think he has lost is his ball carrying and protection. The forth goal for example I thought VDV was going to pass to Son much sooner and I doubt it would lead to a goal if Son has to carry the ball much further from their goal. Of course we all know what...

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Everton FC ***

I know I am in the minority here but I think Odobert was only marginally better than Johnson. Yes he can beat a man or two but often follow with little end product. He also gave away the ball in dangerous area. That pass to the middle straight to opposition in our own half was shocking. That...

    Moussa Sissoko

I was told I deserve a medal for this.
