This is desperate stuff that Savinho's injured. I actually got a boost when I saw Solanke was on the bench (not totally injured) even though as someone else said we are only playing two attacking players.

    Kevin Danso

Selling him would increase our chances of a relegation battle by about 35%. What if we are totally exposed in the air over and over and RdZ has to change it but doesn't have the option?

Yeah, with Kudus too whose hold up play was outstanding (and surprising) at the beginning of last season.

    Aston Villa

I actually feel sorry for them, I'm glad Saudi Sportswashing Machine couldn't do a City but Villa having to sell everyone doesn't feel right either.

    The new Dirk Kuyt.

Yeah, it's just the fitness, I feel similarly about Solanke. Impossible to really judge either of them in our shirt.

Wanna bump this as I thought he was great yesterday. He allows us to play higher and is so aggressive and strong. Also makes the right choices in attack.

    Ballon d'Or

Gotta be that Georgian magician this time.
  9. Mosquito_Coasting

    Savio

De Zerbi also seems quite instructive and detail orientated which might in part explain why we looked so awful on Saturday if the players are adjusting to total Zerbi-ball. Dunk has spoken about it and if he had a place in that Brighton team you'd hope Danso might have a place in ours if we...

    Different in styles though.

Honestly can't see there ever being another Kante, the top top players are unique. I've seen nothing like Viera for instance.

    Pape Matar Sarr

The more I watch and the more we've seen Mason, Carroll, Winks, Skipp and now Sarr not make the grade (despite a lot of excitement) the more I think CM is the position where a player's mentality and personality are most important. They can't hide, dip or switch off or it's catastrophic for the...

Interesting relationship he has had with Emery.

    Lucas Bergvall

I don't think Bergvall looked disappointed or unenthused. I noticed in the huddle at the beginning he was doing the talking and he was way more visible on the pitch than Tonali or Gallagher. He had a bad game but part of that was due to him not hiding imo. I agree with all the people saying he...

Thought Liverpool deserved at least a draw. Gravenberch and Szoboszlai are such good players.

    Omar Marmoush

Let's hope de Zerbi has a plan for him, not just stick him at 9 and allow CDs to smother him out the game.

    ***Tottenham v Brentford OMT***

I'm wondering if Danso alone is enough and I think we're hardly going to see him unfortunately.

    Def would have missed it.
  19. Mosquito_Coasting

    Cody Gakpo

To be honest he looked frustrating, him and Kerkez were def the weak area in Liverpool's team.

Alysson's positioning was so bad for that goal, didn't move forwards and was right next to his near post. Good game! Would have loved a fraction of this energy from us yesterday. Both teams up for it although Saudi Sportswashing Machine look to have gaps.
