    Lucas Bergvall

Along with the poor defensive display, his reaction was also a big concern. We need big characters for these moments and he seems to be a bit sulky when things don’t go for him. This is not based on one game but his total time at the club, and I would be happy to cash in on him and make room...

    Richarlison

If we can play through a press we don’t need a #9 who can play with his back to goal. But until we do, we simply cannot play Richy over Solanke. I’ve never been a fan of his but that performance yesterday was laughably bad.

Nor can you judge a player as part of a shocking team performance. By that standard every single player on the pitch has been a terrible purchase. Let’s take a breath, realize that we have 3-5 starters yet to come back into the team with a lot of new players and we played a very good team at...

    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

My point was that RDZ had options in midfield whereas he was playing the only fit three attacking players and RB he had available. Playing Moore with Gray on the right side was never going to win us the game so we needed to be solid through the middle. Playing Bergvall ahead of Fernandes and...

Not having an out-ball is a big problem. Kudus is a good option, so is Kulu, even Solanke is better than Richy. If we can’t play through the opposition’s press then this is our only option. And if we lose it every time then it allows them to press even more aggressively. Starting Bergvall over...

No argument here. He has the talent but I don't think he has the drive to succeed.

If he has completed three years in England by the end of the 25/26 season in which he turned 21, how is he not Association Trained? Does arriving August 12th not count as being eligible for a full season?

    Levy's Plan

Good info. I think we tried with RDZ in Feb but he didn't want to jump straight back in with another club. This led to us getting Tudor and then with the loss of his father that gave us time to negotiate with RDZ after he'd had a little break to reassess things. If we had fired TF earlier...

I think RDZ is the type of A+++ personality that he will put himself under a tremendous amount of pressure to have the team playing the very best they can regardless of pressure from outside or upstairs.

    Levy's Plan

I think we first approached RDZ last spring on the day after he left Marseille, with him saying he needed a break so we then went after Tudor. IF we had fired TF earlier as many of us wish (myself included), who would we have as manager now? It's a funny old game...
