Same. Prob see Danso + an another leave and then those funds will cover the Ndiaye deal, leaving us with the cash for a striker.

    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

Exactly. It’s two games, with lots of new signings that aren’t fully bedded in yet. Back in the day it was embarrassing if anyone cared about the league table up until 4-5 games. Nowadays it’s knee jerk city (mostly started by the media)

    Cody Gakpo

I agree. If we’re spending £85m we need an out and out centre forward. We’d have won today’s match if we had an 8/10 striker

xG 1.0 - 0.75 Lose 0-2 Sums up the match really. Thought we played well in midfield, just no striker and can always let in a soft goal.

Thought we’ve been good, lots of positives. But no cutting edge will always bite you in the ass at this level.

Marmoush looks great already. Seems very calm every time he’s had the ball

Marmoush first touch already showing more than Richy and Solanke

The only positive is that maybe it’s good weve changed it up after being so dire against Brentford. Would be interesting if it’s a diamond.

Haha good point. Should have followed him to the ground just to be sure…

Whatever happens I’m going to enjoy watching Marmoush (before he no doubt goes off with a slight knock….that keeps him out for a year)

This is why I think Danso and VDV is still our best pairing. VDV reduces the threat from balls over the top and Danso adds strength in the air. So far VH seems like a luxury who’s picked for his passing. Don’t think that works in modern day PL as every defender needs to be strong.

Holding your face when nobody touched it should be a retrospective yellow card at least

    Kevin Danso

Ffs Should be first choice. Best actual defender we have.

Same. I still think Danso and VDV is our best pairing, compliment each other well. I hope JPVH doesn't get picked ahead of Danso purely because of his price tag (or hopefully he improves and becomes clear first choice, but not atm).

Best defender no doubt. Think it will just take a few games for de Zerbi to agree
