Thing is, we will get Xavi back in Jan, Odobert somewhat around that time, Deki is threatening to be back before November, Maddison too...so we could have Savio Kudus Tel Marmoush Xavi Odobert Deki Maddison As it stands right now, we would have to sell at least two, maybe three for space. We...

    Iliman Ndiaye

If he is being offered inferior terms to those he's on, and if the narrative is being peddled that he is the problem, then why should he? I'd rather wait for all the facts. The player said he wanted to go back to Everton, so I suspect the issue is in what they offered him.

    Iliman Ndiaye

I would have to say he is partially responsible here it would appear, but we don't know all the details, and if Everton didn't want to meet Richey's personal terms, then they've tried to pull one here too.

For me, the saddest thing of all was the way Romero had to go. He became a firm focal point of fan anger, which IMO made it untennable that he would contemplate returning. I think he is a genuinely massive loss. Other than that, perhaps Spence too, albeit again, I think that was decided a long...

Indeed!!!!! But in balance the work we've done has been good IMO. I think it was vital we got Moore a really good season loan as that will be far more beneficial than watching him be picked apart week after week when he makes a less than brilliant cameo.

Tosin & Mudryk deals with Chelsea

And once the window is closed and those that have the detail for these things do the sums, we'll see our net spend is actually far more sensible than the gross spend looks.

Tosin & Mudryk deals with Chelsea

Well, this is the ride we're on. I think we're taking a low-risk punt on this loan with a player the manager feels he can get working. Saving our money for further down the line. I know optically how it looks and am prepared to see how it all lands in the coming months. 😂 mate...I have...

Tosin & Mudryk deals with Chelsea

so f**king help me (perhaps it's my conditioning!) I am actually somewhat intrigued and excited to see if Mudryk turns out to be a surprise success or a total 100% disaster!!!!!

Tosin & Mudryk deals with Chelsea

Maybe. I honestly have no clue. My read is that it was an all-in on Gakpo. That we had an agreement with him, providing Liverpool got a second player in. And that Gakpo's agent being Pep Guardiola's brother meant the moment City decided they wanted him we'd be gazumped by them. I always...

Tosin & Mudryk deals with Chelsea

If we had seriously wanted Ndiaye, we'd have paid the money earlier in the window surely...this seems to all be about RDZ having more senior squad players he feels he can rely on. I love Mikey Moore, but think a season at Köln playing regular football is enormously more beneficial to the player...

Tosin & Mudryk deals with Chelsea

What I remember the most about Werner is that when he first came in on loan he was actually decent with regards to assists but awful in finishing. The biggest mistake we made was not giving Postecoglu who he wanted that summer (Neto I believe) and instead taking the 'cheap' option to renew the...

Tosin & Mudryk deals with Chelsea

I have not seen any mention at all of what it would be. I am assuming a loan with (at most) an option?

    Richarlison

Agreed. I was concerned at the 11-12 goals we were losing there. The wider truth here is that we are absolutely paying for losing two of the best strikers the Prem has seen (and in the same team)...they allowed us to ignore a multitude of issues post Poch...

    Richarlison

Good for him!!!!! I thought that was a very heartfelt and honest statement. He has my backing as a human being regardless of what happens for us as a club. If anyone actually gives a brick about him, they should be mindful of his self-declared mental health issues, and his subsequent strength...

Tosin & Mudryk deals with Chelsea

Agree 100%. We do the sort of work in one window which previously would either never have happened or taken three, and because we miss out on a premier target in Gakpo, the boots fly in. No-one here was thinking about Ndiaye before the name flew onto our radar last week. If we loan Mudryk, yes...

Interesting. The manager has history with him from Shaktar if memory serves me (EDIT late in here I see). Wonder if we're going in to sweep up a couple of Chelsea's unwanted?
