    This is why I think Danso and VDV is still our best pairing. VDV reduces the threat from balls over the top and Danso adds strength in the air. So far VH seems like a luxury who’s picked for his passing. Don’t think that works in modern day PL as every defender needs to be strong.

    Same. I still think Danso and VDV is our best pairing, compliment each other well. I hope JPVH doesn't get picked ahead of Danso purely because of his price tag (or hopefully he improves and becomes clear first choice, but not atm).

    I looked into the stats before and think he only started 18 games as a striker, only playing the full 90 mins 3 times. They then moved him to number 10 position. Think he def needs a team playing to his strengths. Could that be us? Maybe.
