Agree. It was obviously amazing for us to win a trophy, but I did point out that we’re likely to see Brighton or Villa in the super cup in the next few years… If PL teams take it seriously then they’ll always be in contention

***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v The Garibaldis (will Marinakis eat his own club with a cuppa?), Sat Sept 5th, City Ground, 3pm***

Savio back, Mudryk fit enough for the bench, and Marmoush has made it a week uninjured 🎉 : Tottenham boss Roberto de Zerbi find his side bottom of the table, without a point or a goal after two games. He started his news conference by providing a team news update before Saturday's match at...

Wouldn’t be too upset with a draw, but yeah a defeat would be squeaky bum time already

Champions league though, no chance. Just realised Danso is back in the Europa league, Sunderland and Bournemouth have a reasonable chance to get close.

Good point, hadn’t connected the dots. Just so unprofessional either way.

Probably the most excited I’ve been for a game for years (not including the Europa league final). Really hope Marmoush and Savio get their first start together. Would be amusing if Mudryk gets 10 mins too. Hoping to see some solid signs of what’s to come.

    Mike Dean comments

Not a fan of Wenger (obvs) but the fact he called Mike Dean a liar and then stuck to his guns is something I can respect. Dean should pay back his fine… How tf can any referee say they are doing anything other than controlling the match to the best of their ability? For me this highlights...

While waiting for Kulu, could we go with.. Savio Kudus Tel Marmoush Or Savio kudus Marmoush Solanke ? Dont really like Kudus on the right, he often flatters to deceive when it comes to real output imo

He has been training since 1st August, but your point still stands that surely he’d need more time than that. Edit: if he has got up to speed in 1 month then would wonder what the hell Tonali has been doing 🤣

    Mykhailo Mudryk

An unsavoury character (I don’t know if this is true, but going off others), hard as nails with pace to burn, and will be playing for his whole career. This *could* be great to watch.

    Tosin Adarabioyo

I thought his head being cutoff was a joke 🤣 (Clicking through it’s just the preview.) Gutted Danso left, but at least we haven’t left ourselves short. Looking forward to at least one late headed Tosin goal.

    Mykhailo Mudryk

He barely failed the test, and based on current testing procedures he would have passed. (which I think is why they ended his ban) Prob taken less of anything than the entire Klopp Liverpool team.

    Mykhailo Mudryk

Maybe I'm a weirdo, but the same. The ultimate underdog, who even if he only gets 90% of his pace back is one of the fastest players in the league. I must admit that the fact he wanted to play for De Zerbi has helped sway me.

Between them they have two CL wins, so they didn’t do two badly 😉

    Cody Gakpo

Also, if Mudryk is brick we have no obligation to play him, can just mark it down to a gamble that didn’t pay off. Whereas if we spend £40m+ on a “backup” we’re financially committed to try to polish a turd. I personally think Mudryk will turn out well, he’s surely going to play like his life...

    Kevin Danso

Yeah it’s interesting as normally we keep players at the club and make it difficult to leave unless a “good offer” comes in. Hoping we’ll see some benefit from having sold any players that don’t 100% want to be here

    Dusan Vlahovic

Didn’t they only just get him? And presume hes on a mega wage.

Tosin & Mudryk deals with Chelsea

Good point (although Liverpool have Isak) I’ve been thinking we surely have to sign a striker today, but you’re right that the PL is changing. However those teams have players with more goals in them than ours. Just not sure Savio, Marmoush and Kudos have enough goals in them. Think we’ll still...

Tosin & Mudryk deals with Chelsea

If we sign anyone else tomorrow we’ll have bought an entire team.

Fair point. But he’ll surely be bang up for it and has a ton of pace… this is a better punt than spending £50m on a panic buy just to fill out the squad. So…I guess I like it because he’s free lol
