Yeah, he's really not very good. Only 1 in 3 in the farmers' league. Only 3 in a whole season in the Championship. He's nowhere near top half EPL level He's a super presser. But technically he's awful, he can't hold the ball up and he's not much in front of goal.

ACLs don't really work like that. The graft either works, or it doesn't (95% do). The issue then is just how much agility and pace it has cost you, and how important they are to your game. There aren't setbacks per se, other than the graft failing and having to go back to square one (i think...

What over the past 3 season has led you to conclude that the medical team Munn assembled are anything but incapable?

Yeah i went to a game a few years ago and it was in the back room of a swimming pool. There probably wasn't more than 500 people there, despite some ex-NBA players featuring doing the retirement circuit

They'll build something like the Co-op Arena on the sports pitches on Worcester Avenue

All visible lost a degree of agility that hasn't returned (so far at least)

He had City's surgeon, rather than ours

I thought he looked unfit and pretty crap in all but one game. He was no Paulinha in that spell

I wouldn't say that's reassuring. None of Bentancur, Dragusin or Maddison came back as the players they were before

I wonder if we could send a pal out there with him, like we sometimes do with youth loans. Perhaps Donley or Abbott are at the right stage of development?

If we think he's the one and are going to take him on a 6 year contract, it shouldn't make that much difference. £90m rather than £100m perhaps?

Vuskovic and Devine thrived there didn't they. It's a good league too - better standard than Holland now and catching up with France

I wonder if we still might be assessing going back in for Kroupi for the CF spot. If he's back in October, maybe its worth signing him injured and making do for the first 7 or 8 weeks?

What does he do then? Lots of not very intelligent running? I just literally don't ever remember him playing well. He looks out of his depth.

    Georges Mikautadze

But he's just a cheap version of Kroupi, so potentially we weren't bothered until the original got injured?

Surely the other way around? I know Spence is the better defender, but offensively Spence is a driving runner, whereas Porro's superpower is his deep crosses. If Porro is too advanced, we lose the power of those diagonal crosses.

I'd throw in Christian Kofane from Leverkusen Pio Esposito from Inter

I think you are conflating back-to-back performances against Brentford and United as a spell. He only scored 6 goals in the first half the season (Brentford, United, Villa x2, Chelsea, Liverpool), despite playing pretty much all of every match. Maddison (not much of a goalscorer) got 7 in...
