They'll be back when the sensible people are back in charge. I can see the attractions of the motor home, that sense of freedom must be great.

So true. Our great wish is travel. Spain will be our base for the large part of the year, but during the hottest part of the year we will travel up into Central Europe revisiting all our favourite places, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, London etc, while exploring and having new adventures in places...

Sell up and move lock, stock and barrel. Having another property is just another worry, and the last thing I need is more stress.

Great thread. Approaching 60 now and it's always been our plan to move to somewhere with a better lifestyle and climate. We've planned for this financially for over 30 years and now it's getting closer it's exciting and terrifying in equal measures. Leaving Glasgow on Friday morning to drive...

I holidayed in Toronto with family in the early 80s and had a chance to move there late teens in the mid 80s and didn't take it. Loved it and have always wanted to go back, would have considered retiring there but housing is maddeningly expensive.

We considered Thailand as we have some Thai friends, but it was just too much of a cultural change.

Non lucrative visa, moving over there full time. There's little here for us, will take out residency and make Spain our home.

Driving to Spain on Friday, scouting out areas to retire to in a couple of years. Can't blooming wait!

If it was reaching its peak and losing momentum probably not. Also, these cameras can move at a fair lick and will be exposed to all sorts of cross windsand they will need a really good dampening effect.

If the camera wobbled it would be pointless as every time it moved it would wobble. It will be full of gyros and gizmos to smooth out any motion. Not that I'm saying it did or didn’t hit the wire as I haven't seen it.

Troll that he is I'm hugely surprised Baleforce isn't supporting his native team.

Err, English summer. We've had more "unseasonably cool" days than heat wave up here.

It's great to see the "fudge you" attitude towards fifa and trump, you're not going to spoil our party.

That is true, but could we get a better back up RB and lb cover. It's a tricky equation.

I think the "somehow" is a tad unfair on everyone outside of Fifa and trump. Did a lot of us expect it to flop, yes, I certainly did, however I'm a great believer in that occasions are only what you make it. If you turn up with a bummer attitude then it's going to be a bummer, turn with a good...
