    Yeh that’s fair. From what I am reading there is no formal psychological assessment unless there are red flags in initial evaluations. So id just do that as a standard if there are no females in the equation.

    I just beleive it should not be exactly the same as an adoption involving a female. Which it is at this point in time. And that’s not just because of a risk of sexual abuse either. There are reasons why courts almost always favour the female when determining custody of children.

    That’s always been my point and is enough of a reason for the assessment of male gay couples looking to adopt children being more stringent. I’d apply that to a single straight male looking to adopt as well.
