Both Sunderland games and Palace away weekend of Jan 27 will come after they have played in Europe.

    Would hope so.

A forward we could go for that’s been linked in the past would be Ferran Torres. He can play #9 and be a more than capable starter for us while also able to play either wing if needed with Solanke or a long term replacement.

    The value is £50M profit.

That’s a different arguement. If we make £50M from him none of its been a waste of time.

I’d avoid juding a player based on performances against Paraguay and Australia.

I personally think our next regular 20+ a season striker is one of Lankshear or Tel.

A process that will generate a £50M profit so it would have been worthwhile.

Who are we signing that has a better chance of Solanke staying fit and finding form? Realistically ?

Looks more and more like this will happen. It’s a shame but RDZ has my complete backing and if it funds signings like Tonali & Fernandes you’ve got to accept it.

Had we signed Eze and Arsenal signed Xavi they would have still won the league, we would have still struggled to stay up and Xavi would be viewed as the better player.

Not wrong but it’s also a bigger risk.

You would need a brave but marketing savvy owner to give Hayes a job in the lower leagues.

It’s great except the concessions are disappointing. The same generic spot with the game drink and food selection. $835 for Category D although we we front of our row with a railing in front. Annoyingly there were 2 empty seats next to us as well. It’s still money but a once in a lifetime...

World Cup 2026: Mexico, USA and Canada

Yeh no trouble at all. The big bar in the photos had a group of Croatia fans right in the middle and there we no problems. Occasionally they would play a Croatian song they would sing and the England fans would drown them out with their own signing. I suspect if it was in Europe you couldn’t...
