    Will be interesting if they change their strategy at all. Since Ferguson left everything has been after a quick fix. Which has just meant spending silly money. The one manager I thought that was onto something was Solskjaer but they forced Ronaldo onto him and it started going wrong.

    Re the midfield Bissouma/Bentancur. Next season is AFCON. So that might be taken into consideration do you want Bissouma and Sarr both in the squad if they are disappearing at the same time. I think it’s over the busy Christmas period as well.

    Excellent servant for the club. As it currently stands we are well stocked at CB. We need another LB but one that can mean the drop off from Destiny is so large. Unfortunately this all means it’s probably time to move on.

    Terrible lap of honour or whatever they were calling it. First half it was just the players then it wasn’t just kids and partners every players seemed to have 5/6 people join. Meant to be to appreciate the players. More non players than players by the time they got to the south stand.

    What pot you are in doesn’t make much difference these days. As you have to play 2 teams from each pot anyway. Then knockouts are based on league finish.

    I see a stake in Chelsea’s women’s team has sold for £20m valuing the team at £200m. Which is what Chelsea sold it for to themselves last year and the premier league were investigating it as part of their financial rules. Unlikely they can be punished now an external party has valued it at similar.
