All very noble, but I would rather you had explained your rent cap idea further mate.

Again. So what? Pochettino had done a fantastic job but wasn't trusted appropriately by the CEO. The CEO had also presided over our scouting, data and recruitment structure going to brick. He basically created the perfect storm for us to fail.

Why do you find it strange when people say something that is an absolute fact? Of course there are reasons why we have such a large debt, but unfortunately that is what we have. The debt is also considerable larger than it needed to be.... Did we really need the massive additional expense...

That Lange wanted somebody he could go out for dinner with and speak in his native tongue?

So what? A great CEO does what is right for the business (or in this case football club) not what will give him the least flak from the fans.

I find it strange when people say 'our debt is not a worry' when our debt is the highest in the PL and has been increasing year on year. Our debt is a considerable worry. I'm hoping we see ENIC sell at some point in the near future and the new owners pay down a considerable portion of the debt...

Ah yes, apologies, I see that you did indeed take it back after you’d been pulled up by @Rafa87, though even then you left Silly out, further emphasising my point really. So back to the other part of my post, where have I tried to stifle debate?

Do you rent property out @MartyFunkhouser? What percentage over the mortgage should it be capped at? And by that do you mean ‘mortgage rates’…. So I assume base rate? What percentage of the property should be the mortgage be considered on? I assume 100% of it? if a property is worth £320k...

The first one of those would discourage investment and perhaps also lower asset values in this country. What do you mean by merging NI into income tax? How would your land value tax work? Who values the land? How does the charge get paid? How does it get distributed? Does all land tax...

Where have I tried to stifle debate? To me reading the comment “ ‘Finney and Silly are world experts on tasers bro. Don't question it ffs lol” Would suggest to me that you want to stifle (or at least belittle) anyone who had a different opinion to you…. But to each their own.

Oh go on then, I’ll bite…. Who do you term as ‘rich people’, what tax would you get them to pay and what sort of impact do you think that would have on the overall tax take of the UK?

Thanks. It seems to me that there are a few people on here that like to belittle others when they have different opinions to them. Why stay out of the debate @Rafa87?

Sorry I must’ve misinterpreted this from you…. “There is a debate about police beating someone up for the sake of it when they could have just arrested the incapacitated psycho.”

Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

This is exactly right. When a person is tasered it is only a very temporary incapacitation (and in some cases no incapacitation at all). In this instance the officers had to use appropriate force to attempt to get the suspect to release the weapon they had just been attempting to murder...

It find it strange that some on here view that arrest as the police beating someone up for the sake of it, I really do.

Different people have different reactions to being tasered. I have a pal who is in the police and have heard many stories from him over the years. The effectiveness of the taser depends on many things, for instance if the subject is obese or if the spread between the probes is quite small then...

More than he's worth I think. I see him as an average keeper. Reasonably good at shot stopping but really poor at dealing with crosses, also poor with the ball at his feet and poor with his positioning. Worst of all though he hasn't got any better since he's been here. I don't think he...
