    They would but the concern is people then start talking like everything would be fine if they were available and I don't think that would be the case. We would be better, but the core faults and weaknesses would still be there.

    I know i'm repetitive but i'm befuddled and ultimately amused by all the fans who can't see whats right in front of their eyes. I've just come to the conclusion that the desire to be positive and to see things as rosy as possible blinds them to some fairly obvious truths.

    This is what I keep saying about Solanke and especially Maddison injury shouts. Everyone is forgetting the performances of these players when they were fit and available.

    That's Frank's, Ange's and Conte fault dont you know. They have just coached all of these players so terribly that none can hit a simple through ball accurately and with the correct weight. Simons over thinking it.

    I'lll admit a Simons, Muani and Solanke attack has some potential, just lacks a lot of width. The interplay between Simons and Muani is somewhat promising, they are on similar wavelengths in terms of link play.

    He has chocolate wrists and can't save shots, hes more of the same at the moment. Maybe with time he will develop into someone better than Vicario but honestly he gives me 0 confidence when any shots are on target.

    I HATE 3 at the back as a system. I'll never like it because like you suggest unless you play it to perfection you are almost guaranteed to lose the midfield battle and midfield is where games are won.

    That Vicario save is a perfect example of what hes good at. Close range reaction shots and you can't get much better than him, but a lot of other saving and general goalkeeper categories hes very poor.

    @Raziel Please note the quality or lack of quality of that fairly simple to make through ball into space from Gray. Even when the space is there the player still failed at making it and it was a beyond basic pass to make. This is not coaching this is a lack of consistent achievable quality.

    He's great at close reaction shots, but middle and long distance he seems to always get his angles wrong. This season alone hes been beaten by multiple very saveable middle distance shots.

    He's the reason why whenever talk about Ederson revolutionising the sweeper keeper role I looked at them with a blank face. Ederson didn't do anything Neuer wasn't already doing and better, plus he was actually a world class shot stopper to go along with it.
