    The whole basis of survival is based on empathy right? Collaboration as you say, ability to form bonds, ability to provide a basis for team work, averting danger. Even bring kids into the world and nurturing them requires huge levels of the stuff.

    Not when you don't have any need for the money.........Inuit have a much bigger sense of loyalty, belonging and deep rooted tradition. Time will tell, but I would be shocked if they sold their soul for money.

    He is very good at breaking the press with the ball, carries the ball well. Not saying he is the most durable and he isn't Wharton on the ball but he isn't a dunce. He has a good range of passing and has quality

    Yeh, not disagreeing with alot of it, just wanted to give insight into Palace. I was lucky enough to see him play against Arsenal for WBA during covid at their place *sick, think big same was manager, anyway he ran the show, was unreal. Then he went to Palace and I got to see alot of him there...

    His role at palace was abit of a hybrid. Lead nearly every stat at Palace in every metric, was a ridiculous season TBH. Did some work as a defensive CM but was more a pressing advanced midfielder. Presses like a madman and is good at it. He will be very good for Xavi IMO

    Agreed but that would be massively unfair on him, from those fans in terms of its not his job to make us prettier, but he will make us better. We should always strive to improve and currently he would be straight into this side. Not that being on here will change hearts and minds on a player...

    He was also captain under Poch and hugely impressive under him at Chelsea the season before he left. I watched him alot for Palace and was lucky to have them as my club for liaison during Covid and he was tremendous there, utterly run the show.

    Conversely he is now the king, he needs to lead and set up in his own vision if he has that about him. If the Lewis kids won't allow that then he would be best off walking IMO.
