Shush you're not allowed to point this out. Be a happy clapper and pretend you can't see with your own eyes.

We do have in us pretty much no matter the manager.

Never a fan of 3 at the back honestly, but its probably the sensible option today. As a system, I find it usually puts you on the back foot by default.

Lets hope, still doesn't mean he should start.

He can't keep the ball, his use is only if you can play the ball into the box for him to run on to. Thats not a realistic approach to take, good counter football relies on good technicians making good decisions decisively and accurately.

Richarlison needs top hold the ball up today. We are going to need him to keep the ball when we are able to break out.

What would YOUR priority signing be in the Jan transfer window?

Thats a really good question and I think the answer is likely what you suggest. Even if the current setup doesn't really work, it suits the elites to have access to the various resources that would inevitable be split if the countries were to realign under more logical and ethnic groupings.

What would YOUR priority signing be in the Jan transfer window?

    Nigeria having it's ethnic divisions.

What would YOUR priority signing be in the Jan transfer window?

They do attempt it, but usually the players you mention were either born or grew up largely in the countries they've chosen to play for. Typically these are also larger, developed football nations with serious winning credentials. So it makes sense, If I were born (or raised) in England...

Not to take the thread in that direction but when hasn't it?

What would YOUR priority signing be in the Jan transfer window?

Whilst you're right about the 3 big tribes, there are actually hundreds of very distinct groups. It's a consequence of colonialism and Britain consolidating its holdings in the region versus the French rather than there being any real and natural affinity between the various ethnicities. Imagine...

What would YOUR priority signing be in the Jan transfer window?

I definitely see more Spurs shirts around. I don't live in Tottenham anymore but I grew up there and honestly the amount of Arsenal fans was unbearable but it made sense, we were brick at the time and Arsenal looked and felt more like the locals. I do think the balance has shifted, our 2000s...

What would YOUR priority signing be in the Jan transfer window?

Soz if my tone came off funny, that wasn't my intention at all I just genuinely didn't quite understand what you saying. I don't disagree with a lot of what you're saying. I think ultimately it's a bit of shame that Tottenham as an area with lots of brown people doesn't have as strong a local...

What would YOUR priority signing be in the Jan transfer window?

Not sure what you mean exactly but there loads of black people in a direct line from deeper Enfield, Ponders End sides, through to Edmonton. Even Stamford Hill which is seen as a Jewish area has loads of black and other ethnic minorities. Go a bit deeper into hackney and black people are a very...

What would YOUR priority signing be in the Jan transfer window?

I'm black and a Londoner. It's literally this. The older generation had no allegiances to any club being new to the country. In the 70s and 80s, when very few clubs had black players period, Arsenal were the London club that had notable faces that ordinary fans could identify with and that's why...

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

He doesn't believe we currently have those players hence the reason for how he seems us up. I see ambition in his words and his overall approach. I see it the players we signed and have tried to sign since he joined. He will play play attacking progressive football albeit with a defensive...

What would YOUR priority signing be in the Jan transfer window?

Which part? The cheaper or his play style? Semenyo I think will be expensive due to the hype, demand and the PL experience. It feels at the moment that he might be part of a bidding war. Savinho We've already seen that 60m wasn't enough to get him. Nusa I think is probably more gettable in the...

What would YOUR priority signing be in the Jan transfer window?

Hmm good question. I somewhat doubt we can really get a guaranteed next level option but I think Nusa is as guaranteed as either of Savinho or Semenyo both of whom I rate. He has similar attributes to both and adds that level of tight technical dribbling and a real willingness to attack and beat...

What would YOUR priority signing be in the Jan transfer window?

At the moment he is yes. Whilst I like Odobert and I do think he has good potential he's not yet at the stage of productivity that we can turn our noses up at other players. Along with the fact that even if we assume Odobert continues to develop and produce, he's the only player who somewhat...

    Brennan Johnson

If we had one of the teams you describe his lack of all around game would stand out even more and the singular dimension to his game would be even more apparent. No progressive high possession technically proficient team will carry a player like Johnson especially not in the wide areas where...
