Has this player ever played as a number 10/CAM? Or a left-winger?

Or our Gedson Fernandes. Alli was pulling up trees in tier 3, and absolute punt that worked out well: he was not bought with an expectation to play straight away in a top 4/6 team, El Khannouss would. Similarly, Modric was already a seasoned international and a starter for the top team in...

@Bedfordspurs did you book a hotel for this as well?

Might end up being a good player long-term, but why can't a club who has lucked out by getting CL via an EL win target players who haven't just been relegated? Surely, there are options to push us on who are better than El Khannouss?? It's like we are still stuck in 2004...

    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

Fab is certainly NOT bullet proof, but he has been our best DOF/transfer guru since GHod knows how long. He is being brought back for a reason. The question is...where is he and is his absence (after all the changes at the top including his mooted return) affecting our transfer window activity?

    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

One would expect that Paratici would be in place once Munn isn't in position. Of all the people we've had in the past that could do deals, he would be the one. The kind of guy who would have a backup plan for if or when the deal for MGW would collapse rather than seemingly doing nothing to get...

I wish we'd say those 'silly money' wages for bonafide world class or near-world class players... But are the likes of Gil, Solomon, Davies, Bissouma etc really on "silly wages", though?

Do you mean silly money in PL terms? Or silly money in terms of their relative position in the football food chain generally?

Could all this "where is Munn" stuff be contributing to our minimalist approach to the transfer market thus far?

We have multiple positions that need filling/bolstered if we are to be ac lub that is competing at the highest levels and is a club that "has more resources at its disposal" since the stadium rebuild. Two positions would not be enough for that

Fair enough. Personally, for me, if no-one else comes in it will be as hollow/negligent as last summer's window

If the window closes in a month and we make no more additions would that still be a good window overall in your opinion?

    Transfer thread

Yeah ok. But it's not a good look when we have several priority areas and we have only made two signings at this, one of which is permanent whilst the other one is likely a short-term move for a role we will likely have to buy for again in a year. And in a summer after a shambolic league...

Fair enough i missed Takai. Which says how obscure and unknown that signing was (another possibly good one for the future instead of he now). I should have clarified that Kudus is the only new signing we've made that immediately you think can and will go into the starting 11 straight away...

Yes and i bet the plan is to get an increased following before switching the narrative as the window closes and say that "everything was lined up but Levy as usual put the spanner in the works etc" I look forward to someone asking him about Dibley which he went balls deep on saying we were...
