    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

Competed? Yay, maybe we should build a statue for anyone who's at the club for 'competing'. How many should we build for the likes of Pleat, Jol, Poch, Redknapp for 'competing'? "The most Semi-finals, you'll never sing that!"

    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

We didn't compete as much as a big club should. We were more focused on top 4, understandable for much of that time, but sacking Jose before that cup final told us what the default was

    Mathys Tel

He had to show his worth on the pitch tbf. So far it has to be said he has been underwhelming and unlike other positions there is a lot of competition where he plays. Hopefully it's a kick up the backside that we benefit from long-term

    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

Yes i was being slight facetious...just like it's a bit facetious to constantly talk about infrastructure and not talk about actually winning and competing for the trophies that make a big club. After all, the big fan base the club has is because of trophies it had won and competed for...

So...he is still to return, right?

That's all nice i agree re league consistency. But the growth of the club ultimately is dependant on trophies and competing with the very best for them. THE 2010-19 decade was the first one since the end of the second world war that we had gone without winning a trophy. Not many clubs win...

A relatively puff piece, but a summary of Levy's pros and cons that resonates with me for sure. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2025/sep/04/tottenham-spurs-daniel-levy-chair-legacy Daniel Levy’s business sense boosted Tottenham but he failed to reach for glory Jonathan Wilson He...

    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

20 years ago we were finishing 8th/9th. Last season we finished 17th... A bit harsh i know. Off the field infrastructure we have certainly improved and are listed amongst Delloite lists etc and that is certainly down to Levy.

Ok fair enough. No sure i would include Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd amongst that list? Or have i misinterpreted what you were originally saying?

Oh ok. What have we done more in footballing terms exactly? Sorry but i'm trying to really understand what you mean by this

    Randal Kolo Muani

It'll be very interesting to see how soon he gets to start for us. We've obviously had him on our radar for a while now...good late raid to make sure we have cover given the way both Richarlison and Solanke are injury prone

Again just for clarity: we have done more what? Squandered more money?

    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

Just for clarity here, in what ways do you mean when you say "we have done better" than Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd?

The poll is about how the window as a whole can be judged, excuse some of my wording. So you can judge it on incoming AND outgoings
