Who are these proven elite players currently being transferred in that ball park?

    Richarlison

I've been more impressed with his general control and play these past couple of games than the goals - he's looked far more more comfortable when receiving the ball than I can remember and is not getting himself tangled up with the ball and generally looking like Bambi on ice. If he can maintain...

Option 2 for me We had the best striker in the game the last ten years, so I feel comfortable saying a good CF by himself won't be a difference maker. (And Isak ain't no Harry Kane)

    Morgan Gibbs-White

I think the fact we moved on MGW first says he was the primary target for that role - I've got no real opinion on who is the better player and regardless, if we get our first or second choice targets over the line ultimately i think that means we're doing what we are setting out to do so is fine...

    Morgan Gibbs-White

I mean if we get Eze & Savinho then I think the likelihood is we'd have bought MGW + another similarly priced player as well - so it comes down to Eze or MGW as your prefered player for that attacking midfield role

No - i think Isak is and good striker but he's not at the level of the fees being discussed

You mentioned that VDV had his chant sung after his miss and asked why Tel didn't get the same level of support after his? If Tel had a chant I'm sure it'd have been rolled out at that point

OMT - Tottenham Hotspur vs PSG

I'd never seen him prior to our interest and having watched a couple of scouting videos in Jan i had the opinion he was very much a work in progress player and not an elite prospect by any measure. I was not keen on signing him after his loan spell but realise that was an opinion based on not...

I'd be interested to see the numbers because as I say last time it came up I think it was shown he was below average

I remember this coming up before and that his save percentage wasn't particularly noteworthy. Gomes on the other hand had a great record (iirc)

OMT - Tottenham Hotspur vs PSG

It is a glorified friendly undoubtedly - but one that if the result goes in your favour you can use as a feather in your cap for banter purposes. Could have been our 5th European trophy and cementing us as the defacto best team in Europe - as it turns out it's just a warm up for Burnley at home
