Son, Kulu and Madders missing, we have a lack of senior creative players. When is Kulu due back? Maddison could be out for months. Knee too swollen to scan. Only Kudos and maybe Odobert are creative forward players. Bergvall can possibly step up too, he offers creativity and an eye for a goal...

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

It maybe that THFC get/ask for dispensation not to, but normally it is mandtory - councils won't allow such developments without commercial spaces to create local jobs. Maybe Levy wants to focus spending in the stadium and will point to all the local jobs the club creates to get around this. But...

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

The engineering on the plinth that holds the pitch must be crazy to hold all that weight. There can't be colums with the pitch sliding in and out, so how is all the weight of the towers supported? I guess the towers are on the periphery. Unlike a lot of these developments, the ground floor...

    Daniel Levy - Chairman

I would suggest this is Vanai’s good work. Could see a few media pieces since he has come in trying to control the narrative - rather than X etc which always has a negative bent to get hits. It’s always great to hear from Levy. He is very human and ‘one of us’. If I was to criticise Levy it is...

    Daniel Levy - Chairman

I can summarise: 1. A free market belief system 2. History of Governments faffing up most things with regulation 3. Keeping controls closer to home allowing football to govern football.

    Dele Alli’s available 😂

    Son Heung-Min

His demise seems overstated by most. He is still a top player. He score 10 goals and made 10 assists last year!

    Son Heung-Min

Like the way the club did this: announce it now so he can lead the club out to adulation in his final game 😢

    So, what happened today?

I crossed paths with Liam last week. Wish I had seen them live in their pomp. Truly a groundbreaking band.

The other positive is that often players who've not played a lot can come back fresh and hungry. And sometimes clubs sign players off the back of great seasons where they've given everything. And then next season they lack punch. Guess we will find out how Palhinha does! It is low risk for us...

    Joao Palhinha

Provided he stays fit. Only played 5 full 90 min games last season. Maybe that was partly not being selected rather than injuries.

    Joao Palhinha

Lets hope his fitness test is robust! From the beeb: Spurs target Joao Palhinha looked set to take his career to the next level when he signed for Bayern Munich but he has failed to live up to expectations in the Bundesliga. The Portugal midfielder penned a four-year deal with the German...

So many games last season we looked naive. Quite a young side. And we never saw Son or Romero step in and play that role of leader, really. We were prone to be hustled. We looked totally different in the game today, far more combative and primed. But it was just a friendly. Frank will prepare...

    Joao Palhinha

Another big piece with this (probable) signing is having a leader in the side could be crucial. Our most senior 'leaders' are not actual leadership material. Palhinha looks to dominate his midfield. He leads from the middle! I'd imagine he's also a good guy to have around the dressing room too.

    Sarr's backup sorted then :)

Guessing Bissouma is off. Paulinha an upgrade on Bissouma. If he stays fit.

Can't really go wrong, getting a formally £40-50m player for no transfer fee, just wages. He's not necessarily ideal for us on first sight, with Frank liking a double pivot. But you don't turn your nose up at such a good player for free! No capital outlay seemingly.
