Sergio Aguero is one of my favourite ever forwards and I'm sure he was not more than 5'9" Not that I have any clue if this guy is similar to Aguero, simply to point to the fact that his height is not something to rule him out for. If you're solid enough, then being smaller/more compact with a...

Get in! I've wanted us to sign him since two minutes ago. Especially after confirming his name doesn't start with the letter N

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

One of the clips of Frank that have been doing the rounds included him speaking of his preference to have crosses/balls across hit from the corner of the penalty area rather than closer to the touchline as there was a greater likelihood of end-product from them

    Mathys Tel

Great! He's very young but is now joining (we have to assume) with the firm agreement of the new manager who puts an emphasis on coaching and developing. Tel seemed eager to stay and has a colleague in Odobert here. In a far from ideal situation in his time with us, he's showed hard work and...

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

I wonder how long it will take Frank and his coaches to really make a proper assessment of all the players at their disposal. Of course they can look at stats and videos in the off-season but face-to-face training will mean so much, along with the responses to tasks and trials within sessions.

    Transfer thread

One story (Guardian?) was saying we're interested in Wissa. Heck, that Kelleher fellow between the sticks looks useful, why not link us with him too?

Of course. Which is reassuring. And it's great that no ITKs were trumpeting this in those previous weeks and months either.

    Thomas Frank’s coaching staff

As is my pattern, I've gone all in with Frank after watching and listening to a lot of content in the last few days. He seems to have that rare blend of intelligence, humility and warmth, which is such a great combination for a manager - evidenced by Brentford's really lovely farewell...

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

It is probably a good sign to some of our youth as Cochrane's history has been with coaching younger players and he'll be pretty hot on wanting a pathway of opportunity for them. We may not see all that many transfers in, considering the coaching set up that is being given reign here.

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

Cochrane has worked with Matt Wells at Spurs a few years back, so hopefully this will just work a that bit more towards hitting the ground running and getting that new structure in place fast.

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

This seems to be very good news as Cochrane is very highly regarded and will surely facilitate Frank's smooth integration here.

As I guessed earlier, this may be the issue here. All transfers take days. This one isn't even at a week yet so chill your beans, fella!

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

It may be that under Frank we see more switching in of players on a game-by-game basis if he views them as being better fits against certain opponents or within a specific game setup. As opposed to having a first team/starting XI.
