    There's nothing 'solid' about Dier being in central midfield. He hasn't played well in CM for about 3 years. It would make our woeful build up play even worse. If we're going to play two DM's it has to be Skipp and Hojberg.

    Am I right in thinking that Tomiyasu is more of a defensive RB ala Japhet? One who can also play CB. With Japhet starting the season well it wouldnt seem like the best balance to have both vying for that spot? Would also explain why we are looking at others.

    It is no coincidence we looked a better side when he came on against wolves on sunday. And thats without a proper pre season. 221 goals in 337 games. i get the negativity about how he's gone about things but there is no denying he is a class act. And a goal machine.
