    We've won at Saudi Sportswashing Machine quite a few times IIRC? Kane scored in a 3-1, there was a 2-1 and a 3-2 when the Saudis and Ant and Dec turned up plus others. When we lose though we tend to lose heavily. They played midweek so going for 2-1 to us. Either that or we lose 5 nil

    Indeed. For all his supposed inadequacies he's been at the top for 10 years, would have been very good for us. Desicison making, passing etc. not great and runs like a mini-T-Rex but works hard, has pace and can beat his man creating space for others. Always gives us problems.

    Went to one mid 90s at Earls Court (IIRC). The Verve were supporting, had no idea who they were so ignored them (what-a-mistaka-to-maka) and went drinking before Oasis came on stage. Oasis were great that night though.

    Agree @parklane1 but I'd say it's been spiralling downhill since Blair and 'New Labour'. As a working class bloke I would always look to vote for Labour but now I don't really feel any parties have my interests at heart and the vast majority of politicians are in it for their own personal gain.
