Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

Still struggling to work out how they seem to run out of Beavertown beer before kick off at every game?! I usually get in to the market place before KO and usually its chaos, pumps not working, neck oil runs out. you'd think they would have enough beer to go round?!!

***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Saudi Sportswashing Machine***

I like the look of that. lots of pace in that team.

    Giovani Lo Celso

Still worried with the state of the squad with 2 days left in the window Concern 1 - seemingly not re signing Llorente or a similar type of forward. The lack of ability to mix it up and go longer in Kanes absence will hurt us IMO. was a useful weapon in the CL run Concern 2 - RB - it's the most...

I wouldn't be suprised if this doesn't happen if it looks more likely that Eriksen will stay and see out his contract. Various sources reporting that talks have gone cold again.

    Toby Alderweireld

Any danger of someone coming in last minute? i'm amazed no one bar Roma has shown any interest. He's a class act.

    Toby Alderweireld

i don't get where the 'injury issues' idea has come from? He's had one hammy that i can remember in his whole time here. he played almost every minute last season. His injury record is actually really good.

    Transfer Tittle-Tattle

I'm with you, he is a top drawer centre half. I was at anfield last season when we lost 2-1, was sat in row 3 and he is a beast up close. He also organises their back 4. Good in the air, athletic, reads it well. If he was playing for us we would all be purring over him.

    Transfer Tittle-Tattle

Laughable. Lets turn it on its head for a minute. What about some of the performances where we really hit top gear this season. Off the top of my head, i can think of the 6-2 away at everton, 3-1 at home v chelsea, and Dortmund at home. How do you explain his driving performances in midfield...

    Max Aarons

Sessegnon has played as an attacking midfielder for quite a while. He's also young and lightweight. I Don't see him in our side as a left back next season

You don't think we've got the cash to make say, two real statement signings? That might cost £120 million roughly? You don't think we'll have the cash for 3 or 4 years to do that? I'm not following. Apologies if i've misunderstood.

Completely agree. Just look at Liverpool as an example. Identified the weak areas, moved to get swift, top drawer replacements, and yes they had to spend big, but it pushed them to serious title challengers and CL winners. We need similar swift, targeted action, this really is the time to do it.

    Wan-Bissaka

Greater value? not so sure. The only reason Walker left is because he demanded a move away. This. Walker decided he wanted away, not the club. That we never replaced him with a top level full back has cost us.

They're opening the stadium for the final.

i've worked out a couple of spots which seem quieter. If you can get down in to the goal line bar early its usually not too bad. The smaller bars around the concourses are a joke

We're the Famous Tottenham Hotspur and we're going to Madrid (Travel Thread)

I couldnt get a ticket so cancelled my trip. Weighed it up and decided i'd rather watch in the stadium, Madrid is a great city but not sure how nice it'll be with 50,000 drunk football fans in it!

    ~ OMT ~ TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR FC v Liverpool FC ~ THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL ~ 2019 ~

Sissoko has been superb, no doubt. But Winks has been patchy (with some great performances thrown in). Just worries me that they've got that strength and fitness in there and we are relying on Winks to partner Sissoko who hasnt played in ages.
