    He really does. That's impressive.

    Dominic Solanke

Very pleased with this signing. He seems to blend character, hunger, skills & strengths that we need and a record of scoring in our league. Here's to forging his own path at Spurs, littered with many goals over many years culminating in many achievements.

Rough highlights of Prem teams' transfer windows

Kilman, Todibo, Summerville and Fullkrug to complement Kudus, Paqueta (who is still there), Alvarez, Ederson and Ward-Prowse. I take the depth comment, but until they hit problems that's not a concern. The manager and 'brand' remain to be seen. Not sure what Lopetegui at West Ham will be like...

Mendes. That pustulent abscess on football.

I assume that's Gary Jacobs who said in the last few days that Richarlison had changed his mind and would now go to Saudi and that Milan were cooling on an Emerson Royal deal.

Rough highlights of Prem teams' transfer windows

    Absolutely. They are a concern.

I think we'll already be in a very healthy financial position meaning we don't need to play games with Skipp's fee.

£50m and £10m would mean Bournemouth pay £3million less to Liverpool but with the same net income. Unlike the PSR games, there's incentive for the fees to be somewhat understated this time.

    Dominic Solanke

And that's probably the right approach. If we have Solanke and Richy who can both be available to be heavy pressers high up the pitch throughout the game then that'll serve us well with European games to contend with this season.

Bless you, lad. What a happy positive presence you were.

Ally Gold says that Solanke expresses a strong desire to come to us so that means a lot to Ange.

Not that Spurs will pay their club record fee. Good. Bournemouth's biggest sale was Ake for around £40m

    Dominic Solanke

Oh. I posted the video in direct response to you saying that his character was NOT the determiner of whether he's the right player for us. You can say what you want but currently it appears the manager of our club holds a very different view to you. This season could be pretty key to seeing just...

Gary Jacob has shown himself to be full of it!

    Dominic Solanke

He's saying that there's not all that much difference in quality/attributes between different players at the top level but what there IS a huge difference in, is character. And that he finds the most important thing. You would have more of a point if Richarlison were indeed a Unibond Premier...

There's also the possibility that he could consider how much good could be done with that money.

Bournemouth having to give Liverpool 20% of the fee probably encourages a little creativity around a proposed deal
