Pedro Porro

I've seen some stuff online about a hamstring and 6 weeks but it's just rumours, arguably we should have given him more time off after the world cup.

Hamstring, 1 month, saying Oct 24th return

[The Athletic] Tottenham’s Pedro Porro expected to be out for around a month with hamstring injury

Tottenham Hotspur defender Pedro Porro is expected to be out of action for around a month with a hamstring injury.
The 27-year-old, who has withdrawn from Spain’s squad for this international break, is unlikely to be available for Roberto De Zerbi’s side’s next match, a trip to Manchester United on October 10, and may also miss the home game against Coventry City nine days later, on October 19.
There is confidence that the World Cup-winner will be available for the trip to Chelsea on October 24.

should have just thrown him into the fray like the other clubs with players at the world cup
obviously resting him didn't avert injury

I saw him on the pitch Vs Chelsea. I also see rumours that Barcelona has declared him as a target. Is his head turned? He is not a La Masia youth - he is from Rayo Vallecano.
This taken from Chris Cowlin’s page-assume it’s fairly accurate

Pedro Porro, talking to Cadena Ser‘s El Larguero (in Spain)...

“The club gave me the option to renew before the World Cup without knowing what was going to happen. It was a very nice gesture.
“Afterwards, they gave me a great tribute; I feel very loved, and that’s very important to me. They’ve given me a good contract, although if I had waited until after the World Cup, I would have gotten more.
“I finalised my renewal before the World Cup to be at ease during the tournament, because that greatly influences performance.
“There were rumours, but I was focused on doing well for my country. If there’s real interest, they call you directly, and that didn’t happen. There were clubs that enquired about my situation, but there wasn’t any real interest. I didn’t want to listen too much. Tottenham probably asked for a lot of money for me because they value me as one of the best.
“Obviously, I’d love to return to Spain someday. It’s my country, and I like the league. Right now, it would be very unfair to talk about anything other than my club because I’m under contract, but obviously, I’d love to go back to Spain; it’s a big dream of mine.
“[Real Madrid or Barca] I don’t know. I’ll let people decide. I consider myself a player who can adapt to any situation.
“We started [this season] poorly. We drew several matches that we could have won by small margins. We have a lot of new players, but now we have two consecutive wins, and we want to keep the streak going.”

I doubt it, they have Xavi Espart who had just come through. A La Masia youth and honestly looks to have all the potential in the world, they also have Kounde who is better. It's more likely Real who don't really have a RB. They play Valverde a lot and he can do the job but he's a CM by trade.
