Richarlison

The only impending breakdown is my mental one, if and when we lose this majestic barsteward. I was emotionally prepared for Richy to leave on a free next season riding into the sunset after getting 30 PL goals 😃

Who will be my lost cause to get behind then?!?! Tbf the club seems a bit of a lost cause so I could probably just go with that! Strong contenders other then the entity of Tottenham Hotspur football club include Gallagher and Mudryk. Can we still sign Sissoko or the mighty Bongali Khumalo on frees if they've retired?
I think you should picky Mathys Tel.

Fans can be so hypocritical it just blows my mind. On the one hand so many of them got their panties in a twist when Vuskovic said he wanted to leave, but then they get vexed when Richarlison did not want to go to Everton because it did not suit him. Fans can be so full of sh1te it is unbelievable.

Apples and oranges.
Besides, I don't think anyone got angry about Vuskovic wanting regular first team football? It was simply a fact that he did.
The reason Richy didn't want to go to Everton is because they tried to pay him less. If you dig deeper he turned down a big move to Saudi last season to stay and help us out. Why should he leave just because we suddenly decide it is time? If we really wanted Ndiaye we should've offered more and got the deal done when it looked like City had Gakpo. That's not Richy's fault!

Won’t be sad to see him leave. Not good enough is the reality of it. Over paid for him. Never delivered on the pitch bar odd moment.

This game is and should be ruthless. Results business and a symptom of our club over a long period. Letting mediocre players hang around far too long.

It’s been odd seeing some of the comments over our outgoings. We have accepted and made excuses for mediocre footballers for far too long.

Not good enough off you pop. Happens at every level of the game and rightly so.

Why aren’t fans allowed to be sentimental about players? I agree that Richie is not at the level we need, but I appreciate the effort he’s always put in. The game absolutely is ruthless, no need for all of us to be that way.

While I no longer think Richie is good enough for us, I do not blame him for looking after his interests.
Agree, however we've seen several times with other clubs this window, it takes the player AND the club to agree to their respective terms for a transfer to work.

Players who go on to vent on social media just makes it worse as it places the club in a weak situation with all players. Players who dare to burn bridges with club or fans have to be ready to face the consequences, like talking out with the manager and not playing. Easier if you're Alvarez .

Never said you couldn’t. I said it’s odd.

Some would agree , some won’t.

I always enjoyed his scowl. He has scored some crucial goals but I think we can all agree, we need more robust, more productive strikers. To mount any sort of challenge on the Top 6, we need at least two 15+ front men. Ideally one hitting 20. He is 29. This is the perfect time for him to secure a last big contract and go somewhere to be the first choice. Wish him well and I hope he grasps the opportunity now.
