Tosin & Mudryk deals with Chelsea

As has been said, Tosin is being signed as 4th choice CB to replace a player who does not want to be here. Don't see the issue with that personally, keeps HG status which helps.

Do we really need a 4th choice CB at this stage, no Europe and 3 games played already - likely out of the league cup next game. We could play Davies as the 4th choice which he was against Charlton, I'd rather spend the money on a back up RB or someone who can cover CB/RB.

And good ole Archie Gray can cover at CB too of course 😅

Poor fella must be wondering whether he’ll ever get to play in midfield!

Tosin for 7 mil is a great deal. I doubt we would close this transfer unless we have already agreed a deal for Danso which I would hope is for at least 20 mil more than we are paying for Tosin.

Mudryk loan with an option to buy...depends on the purchase amount. It's a gamble, no doubt about it, and not one of our top options but we need more depth on the wings as we currently only have Kudus and Savio (possibly Marmoush) who are legitimate starters.

Reports that Danso is a loan with option to buy

I am staggered at our transfers this year. On one hand I was filled with optimism for the season, even though I thought we had overpaid massively for our incomings and got underpaid massively for our outgoings. I am probably the most pessimistic Spurs fan you could meet, and it has not changed after our first 2 games. Btw I have just seen that Liverpool have turned down an £80 million bid from City for Gakpo. Anyway what would you see as a good season for us right now? Avoiding relegation by a whisker again? Finishing 10th in the table, or does anyone really think we will be challenging for an european place?
Look at Villa last year, they lost their first 4 games and got into the Champions league. I've got to say if we do sign Toisin and Mudryk I will not be getting too excited, but my boys think we are going to come good and zoom up the table!
Wish I could be as optimistic as that

Look at Man Utd last year. They stank out the league for months and still finished third!

My Chelsea mates think it’s hilarious we’re signing them and don’t rate either. Hopefully they’ll be proven wrong!

The only Chelsea fan I knew who understood football passed away sadly (a blinding gent I called Sir Stan, reached 91 years of age, a ledge)...other than him, I have never heard a sensible opinion from any of them. Genuinely.
