It's hard to predict. Kulu's problem is getting the fluid to calm down. Maddison is how much his agility and acceleration have been effected by the graft.

He won't get the fluid/inflamation to calm down. Will have to be managed. I'm in same situation with my ankle. Will never be 100% again. The nerve receptors are damaged and do not 100% adjust joints and muscles to impact and motion which causes excessive strain and wear, causing inflamation and fluid build up (which is your body's natural attempt to compensate by lubricating and repairing the damage).
This has all been explained to me by a private consultant orthopaedic surgeon, who incidentally works for Leeds United on an adhoc basis also.
Any major injury - you're never coming back 100%.

It's like Poch said to Winks, you don't really get past 23yo without carrying something injury wise. Its just about degrees.
With Kulu there's a particularly long period that things will continue to improve for (i.e. a year), compared to many injuries

Who knows? I have never broken a bone or had an injury touch wood, so I can't even speculate with anecdotal like for like.
