*** OMT: Spurs vs Sunderland*** Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Sunday 4th January, 3pm

I really wanted us to be in a position to be able to give Williams-Barnett some minutes, but its starting to look like we will be hanging on

I'd give Spence a go in the WF positions if we need to make an attacking sub

On the right I’m assuming so he’s on his natural side? Or would you prefer Muani to stay right?

I’d love to see LWB come on, but I don’t think he will and I’d certainly understand why.

I'm not sure if people think I'm down on the performance, cause I'm not, I think we've done everything the right way and with the right attitude.

My point was that even with that in the final third we're still 'off' due to our technique. This is what I meant about I'm not sure what tactics can add on top, because we're in the the positions, have the runners, the numbers but the execution is the issue.

While we're waiting for injured players/signings it'll be like this whether we play more defense or more attacking. Which is why concentrating on being hard to beat makes sense.

We’d be two or three up here with Maddison, Kulu and Solanke on.

We need to summer upgrade Vicario

I’m not sure there’s a goalkeeper in the PL who commands his area less.

This has again highlighted a lack of quality in the attacking third.

But we know it will be, until players are back or new ones in

Probably why Frank is talking about defence more. It's where you start, and where he has players fit
