What would YOUR priority signing be in the Jan transfer window?

Both Palace and Villa are interested in Johnson (reports the Palace deal is done in principle), won't be less than 35M

Don't think Dragusin goes yet, still suspect either 3 atb or VDV at LB is something we are thinking about with right depth.

Obviously Biss could go, still supposed interest in Turkey for him.

The wildcard is would you sell Sarr (especially if we have another CM come in)?

Thats who i'm talking about. McTomimay was profiled as a CM at United but in reality hes more of an AM. Its where his goals for United have come from and its where he's largely played for Napoli. I'm not dismissing his quality but we kind of have quite a few AMs as it stands with Simons, Kulu and Maddison. Could McTominay play a CM role? Certainly, but then you lose the factors that are making him excel. As a CM hes pretty average tbh, his passing is meh, but his attacking play is his strength.

With Dragusin i just think Danso has replaced him (and is HG), we need a path for Vuskovic next season, and Takai can cover in the interim. But its mainly in the context of Roma apparently being willing to pay up now.

I imagine Biss will sign a pre-contract to get a full signing on fee. And he probably wants to stay around for the spring to get his citizenship sorted.

Sarr i would definitely keep. I think he's going to be a major player for us. Id ship out Maddison and Bentancur well ahead of him

He is better than Simmons & currently Maddison is out til next season & kulu is not currently available & might not be for a long time yet. So I could see us being interested but not at the price they would want
