It was nice to see that Tel took on the captain's armband, when Zaire Emery was subbed off

It helps to track our players on-screen, if they have a nice bright arm band on. More captaincies, please.
 
^^^ I'm guessing these little kids are in one of the most multi-cultural schools in Britain, and telling them racism is bad is kinda like teaching your granny to suck eggs. It is a good thing that we do this Kick It Out stuff, but ideally would target schools where there is far less diversity.
E.g. When I was at secondary school in Warwickshire there was 1 brown kid and 1 black kid in my whole year!

Not sure id go that far. But I am getting frustrated with the drop in quality since Son and Kane left. We were spoilt with those two, not to mention Alli for 2.5 seasons. It’s just such a massive comedown after having two world class forwards to what we have now which is mid table standard.

But then remember that 2014-15 Son and Kane were very different animals from 2016-23 Son and Kane.

Kane was a beast from his first full season with us. Son not so much but he had at least shown it in Germany for Leverkusen. I accept that Tel and Odobert are young but so far I’m just not seeing it. And neither Richarlison or Solanke are good enough IMO.

Kane was in the championship with Leicester when he was Tel's age though

Bit of a random comparison. Is it your contention that because Kane was on loan at Leicester at this equivalent stage of his Tottenham career that it means Tel is guaranteed to match or surpass him? 👀

That's quite a leap of logic....
