Pushing Up The Daisies

This is really terrible news. Anyone know anything more? Was it a head injury during the game, or did he just have a hidden condition that suddenly occurred?

I'm a regular at Chi games.
Billy joined at the start of the season.
He hit his head on a perimeter concrete wall after colliding with an opponent (no malice) (this is away at Wingate and Finchley)
Game abandoned and air lifted out to hospital. Put in an induced coma.
His family were away in Croatia at the time, so super worrying for them.
Had surgery but alas, it wasn't enough to enable him to pull thru. Terribly sad.

It's been a terrible couple of years for the club as they lost their assistant manager in equally sad circumstances.

RIP young man 💔

Thank you for sharing this. Really tragic.
Condolences to his friends and family.

Absolutely awful. I picked what seemed to be the best emoji on your post but it’s so trivial

Jane Goddall, gone at 91.

An absolute amazing human being and conservation legend.

Contributed so much to our knowledge of the natural world and, via that, provided a mirror to human nature.
