I must say, that was probably the most accomplished performance by any Spurs coach against a Guardiola side i've seen since the first time Pep came to the PL and played against Poch in that 2-0 win at the Lane in 2016.

Pep realised that we were at our most dangerous when pressing their short goal kicks so I think he purposely tried to nullify that by instructing the keeper to go long second half where they would hope to win the second ball and play from there.

He's not as solid defensively as Spence or Udogie. But he always defends with intensity and is quite strong and quick. Not the first time Porro has looked vulnerable and then get back into the duel with his man and overall (imo) come out on top. Seems to have a strong mentality. Getting done once or twice doesn't impact him negatively.
Those shortcomings defensively are more than made up for by his qualities on the ball. But great to see first Kudus and then Bergvall really help him out defensively rather than leave him isolated.
