I loved Lamela for lots of reasons but that nonchalant stamp on Fabregas earned him hero status.

One of my favorite players of all time. I have one Spurs kit with a name on the back, and that's Lamela.
I was extatic when we signed him, and I belive I wrote that he'd at least once would be Premier league POTS. Didn't quite turn out that way, but without injuries, I think he would have been.

Great player with real passion. Forever a Spurs hero!

Don't normally like that type of thing but in this case it was great. Fabregas was a prize clam in the lead up to the game. My favourite bit of brick housery ever.

If you go watch Son and Kane's full compilations (all their Spurs goals), it's quite interesting how many Lamela is involved in, pass before assist, diversion run, somehow involved in the play.

That and the fact he fudging cared, that guy gave it all .. will remember fondly
