I loved Lamela for lots of reasons but that nonchalant stamp on Fabregas earned him hero status.

Lamela’s brickhousery always made me laugh, I he wasn’t the most popular player on here but I always liked him and the nasty “edge” he gave the team. He was hated by other fans for that

I was extatic when we signed him, and I belive I wrote that he'd at least once would be Premier league POTS. Didn't quite turn out that way, but without injuries, I think he would have been.
