Anyone else loathe weeding? The one thing about the hot weather is the grass barely needs to be cut but the weeds are out of control.
Get a hoe. Ten minutes once a week and you don’t need to to get on your knees.Anyone else loathe weeding? The one thing about the hot weather is the grass barely needs to be cut but the weeds are out of control.
This 'beauty' is from my sister in laws garden. We transplanted the rose from the mother-in-law's garden when she died to the sister-in-laws garden (before selling the house) , and every year she cuts some roses and delivers them for the wife....as a little remembrance of their mum

I grow those, plant them in the spring though. Normally very high yield and store well. Not quite as large in size due to the dry weather, but got loads of them again this year. Also grow Marfona (but not this year) which I think are the best for baking.Spuds 'Jazzy' arrived today ready to plant for Xmas dinner.
I've never grown them before, hoping for a big yield - nothing better than homegrown produce.I grow those, plant them in the spring though. Normally very high yield and store well. I found these old seeds in a plastic container labelled sprouts, so I threw them into a few pots to see if they would germinate, and some did. They don't look like sprouts to me!! Any ideas what I am looking at here?

I Google Lensed it and it came back with the same.! Pretty sure it’s not that!Plantnet thinks it is Orange-ball-tree![]()
It has been growing fairly slowly, so I guess not mint. It doesn't smell like sage either, but does look a bit like it. The top leaves are a little greyish compared to the ones beneath.I Google Lensed it and it came back with the same.! Pretty sure it’s not that!
I’d in about 2 days it’s taken over that pot it’s mint.
If the leaves have a bit of a velvety texture it’s likely sage.
