fudging love the bloke. Absolutely love him. He represents me as a Spurs fan in just the best possible way.
Looking forward to the next post about him not being captain material.
It’s interesting the captain discussion and the credentials etc.
Not many factored in just how much every single player wanted to win that trophy not just for themselves but for Sonny - as so many of them have mentioned in social media posts and interviews since.
There’s more than one way to inspire people.
It's the same old thing of their goals mattering because they led to something tangible. Until now Son hadn't won anything so despite scoring more his goals are really associated with any specific moments or achievements.More PL goals than Pires and Ljungberg combined in way less matches. Interesting when you see how venerated those two were and are.
I'm pleased we won.Hahahahaha...OK.

Hahahahahahahaha...BTW, we ALL win as Tottenham Hotspur supporters...
I'm pleased we won.
Concerned for the future. But he has written himself into the history books, alongside Ramos, Graham, Venables, Burkinshaw, Nicholson, Rowe, McWilliam, and Cameron.
He's been playing whilst slightly injured a lot of the time, so it is hard to assess his pace. He still has moments where he looks fast.Anyone think Sonny might decide to leave on a high this summer? He’s just lost so much pace, it’s almost sad to see.
Somewhat apt that he moved to Europe when we last won a domestic trophy and might leave us after we win a European one.
Perfect time to say goodbye. He's on the decline, and he's just lifted our first European trophy for years.
Cemented his status as a legend at the club, regardless of when he leaves....
He deserves to play at a higher level than Saudi Arabia. Besides, not all multi millionaire footballers feel they need to go and earn the petrol dollarI'm on the fence.
When Sonny was used the right way, he looked like he could still contribute a great deal. That for me is perhaps starting one match a week and finishing the other from the bench. He should be playing in the region of 90-120 mins in my mind. Workload management will be key for managing his future wherever he plays next season.
The other perspective is that Sonny is an Asian revenue generating machine. It's a chalk and cheese scenario to the Kane situation we found ourselves in. Sonny isn't worth the transfer value that Kane is. Kane wouldn't be filling as many match day seats and selling as many shirts as Sonny.
Only Saudi could change that dynamic. If they went big on an offer, it's perhaps the only one we need to take.
Would be a great way for him to bow out. He's no longer good enough to be a starter and want him to be remembered for what he did at his peak rather than a shadow of the player he was, hanging on too long.

I hope he either stays with us or goes and joins Mason at WBA. He's too classy for middle eastern bloody money
They've got Coman and Grnaby so are a bit too well stocked in his position.Join Harry at Bayern for one last show?
