Thats what I want to see. I don't want to see a reversion back to inside FBs and a highline with no concern about the space behind. Hes actually shown hes capable of playing that way. I get that he wants to be on the front foot but we aren't good enough to play that way constantly.
No one will murder us in this competition FFS. Still waiting for that 'turning over' the experts on here were adamant we were going to get against Frankfurt....
Been very surprised to see the amount of stick building around him over the last couple of weeks. He’s a very good centre forward and, as you say, worked like a dog tonight.
