OMT - Tottenham Hotspur vs Eintracht Frankfurt

Just home & diddnt see what some have on tv clearly. I thought we were we're poor , there for the taking but not brave enough. Son and Johnson infective . Better 2nd half but what happened to angeball.

Play like Today and we get picked off next weak . Players better than what we saw .., our captain and club ledend anonymous
 
Bergaval a baller , when we crash out next week , new coach will get a better tune out tnmthese players . Build a team around vdv , spene bergavil grey and oferbert and solankire Johnson and son were gas today . I remember zero Cary's from them both
And kids like mikey and we will do well ... COYS ange till the enf , but you bang average son
 
Great performance. Fans finally played their part too, great atmosphere at times.

All to play for in the second leg of a European quarter final. I thought it would be as competitive as it is, but apparently we should have won easily because our players cost a bit more.
 
Our front 3 are powder puff poor. Sonny is finished, Johnson is a weak player who will get some tap in goals . Solanke is just a journeyman. All 3 need upgrading, which is criminal considering the latter 2 were brought in so tecently.
Terrible recruitment yet again.

We were happy with the draw and it will come back to bite us unless we are much better in Germany.

Undoubtedly an improvement and I've been a big Ange holdout, but just because we weren't utter brick doesn't mean we should applaud the performance.

I was at the game and maybe I took on the dour atmosphere that seems to pervade every game now, but unless this was a step towards a higher gear our season will be over very shortly.

We can still do it though, there is a team in there somewhere 🙏

The joys of football, everyone has a view, often different.

When you apply context to that game, and also you look at the way we created concerted pressure for sustained periods, it's hard for me to agree with you that we were happy with the draw, or that we were poor.

We almost scored with the last kick of the game via vdv, had we have settled for the draw we would have been knocking it around in our half by then. So I don't agree sorry .

I think it’s just acceptance of reality, he’s crap and we’re going to be mostly crap whilst he’s the manager, but it won’t be for much longer and the next person has to be better.

I think we have a great squad and will be great next season.

Completely agree.

I’ve been critical of Solanke from very early but as a slight defence he gets nothing off the other 2 really.

It’s a harsh thing to say but Levy’s perseverance with Ange, and Ange’s perseverance with Son has probably cost us this season.

If and when the new manager arrives, he has to make the bold decision to sell Son or make him a sub/2nd choice.

As for Johnson. If he doesn’t score - that’s the performance you get. Used up his good finish vs Southampton, skied a similar chance last night when it really mattered.

We really don’t have a great squad. We have 10/12 max you’d want to keep.

Yes, if you forget how incompetent we can be especially in raucous atmosphere's under Ange.
Sadly, you feel Frankfurt won't have to be great to turn us over at their place.
