Nobody will offer more than the release clause, why would they?

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

So the 'brand value' of it being called the Tottenham Hotspur stadium is no longer considered worth much? :D

I suspect that CAA will sort this one out. They are a big agency and represent lots of players. I would imagine CAA will let Forest know that it isn't in their interests to play silly buggers with players and contracts if they'd like to sign CAA clients in future.

If we have spoken to the player's agent then we're fine. There is no way Forest could prove that anything specific was spoken about in terms of MGW's contract. If it can be proven that we spoke directly to the player without permission then that would be an illegal approach and we would be in...

Maddison is strangely underrated by a fair portion of our fanbase.

    Yoane Wissa

Wissa won't cost £50m. My guess is £20m to £30m. If we do somehow have money to spend on a centre forward then Sesko would be a good option now that Arsenal have moved on to Gyokeres, though I think he'd be more like £70m than £50m. Dusan Vlahovic could be another smart signing. It seems...

    Eberechi Eze

Indeed. Eze on the other hand is a perfect signing for Arsenal in that he can immediately come in and replace the weakest member of their starting line-up on the left and can also provide cover for Odegaard in the centre where they lack options.

    Mohammed Kudus

Solanke is a good player. Could we buy somebody better?... Sure, but he would cost a lot of money and demand wages outside of our budget.

He is one that I suggested last summer as being a potential good, a not too high cost, option for us

    Transfer thread

The fee certainly is with only a year left on his contract but I suspect the interest is real. Unless Wissa is interested in a move to Saudi then I think he'll be off for a fee of between £20m to £30m this summer. Otherwise he stays and just goes on a free next summer - can Brentford afford...

    Eberechi Eze

I've already said that I wouldn't. I think Maddison is a better player than Eze in the centre and, while Eze would've been good for Spurs coming from the left I think we are well stocked with left sided options (Tel, Son, Odobert, Richi, Moore). That combined with Eze's age and transfer fee...

    Mohammed Kudus

I think Kudus has all of the physical and technical attributes to be at least as good as Mbuemo was last season.

    Mohammed Kudus

He racked up good numbers playing right wing, IMO the position where he is most dangerous and the position that I think he will primarily be used for us. Last season he was moved around across a number of positions and didn't have a great season.

    U23s, Academy and Loanees

It is why ‘just play the kids’ is rarely actually a good idea. There is a HUGE difference between youth and men’s football as I always say (from experience).

Transfermarkt. I went to watch Spurs home and also most away games back then. Ginola rarely had a really big impact on the game. What some people now seem to call a ‘match of the day player’.
