    The only reason people questioned the fees paid is because it was Spurs who paid the fees. Had those same players gone to Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea or Emirates Marketing Project for the same money we wouldn’t have heard a peep.     I thought his plan for Grealish was to replace Eriksen. Eriksen wanted to try another league and the idea was that Grealish got a year to get up to speed as Eriksen’s cover before taking over as first choice a season later with us pulling in a good fee for Christian.

    Gallagher's performance on Saturday was the sort of thing I was thinking of when I said we should play him as our number 10 in any minutes that Maddison cannot play at present (and Gallagher starting and Maddison coming on is probably the right way round right now as well).
