The 'If You Still Need to Purge Yourself Of Ange' Thread

He kinda did that last season here compared to his first season. I really don’t think that 7 games is any way enough to judge a manager but it seems pretty toxic there now and it only ends one way. He’ll be lucky to see the other side of the international break and I’d be amazed if he sees...

I hate the clams but Alisson is the gold standard for me. Best keeper in the world and has been for a few years IMO. Donnarumma is excellent too though. Can’t believe City got him at that price.

    João Palhinha

Thought he was fudging brilliant today. The work he does to get in the right positions is tremendous. And, despite his yellow, he was still aggressive which had me worried but I enjoyed it all the same. With a proper structure, VdV and Romero behind him, we have a very solid base. Probably our...

Hate seeing Chelsea win but love seeing Liverpool lose so…meh. 2 points off the top. Get our attackers back and who knows… I know, I know.

Very happy with that. Very good result and we really dug it out. It won’t be easy for anyone going there. Thought Pahlinha was magnificent. So good off the ball in his work rate and positioning. Offers unbelievable protection to the CBs who were also outstanding. Simons also a real player...

They’re always good to be fair. Good test of character for us. Hostile atmosphere, brick weather. Can we get the win?

It’s never a red. Late tackle but it’s an occupational hazard.

Pahlinha doesn’t give a fudge he’s on a yellow. It’s great but nerve wracking. Bentancur is a yard off the pace.

The deflection has changed the flight of the ball and he has no time to react. That’s incredibly harsh. I’m not a big fan of Vic but wouldn’t blame him there at all.

The view from right behind the goal looked like there was a deflection to me. I wouldn’t be overly harsh on him there albeit he’s been poor so far and poor this season.

Bit harsh? It’s taken a couple of deflections.

Absolutely delighted for the lad. The deflection is crucial but he did very very well there.

Iraola has done an incredible job there. They’re a very very good side as we saw at home. I know they’ll likely struggle towards the end of the season coz of his style but he has them overachieving. Also worth remembering that he had a very very difficult start to his time there.

Yeah he took the job but sacking a manager after 7 games? That's bonkers stuff in my opinion. You have to give the man a chance.

The article on the BBC means he's in big trouble. It says he has support but there is "a sense the match at St James' Park is likely to be significant in how Forest view Postecoglou's position moving forward". That's pretty mind boggling. Ange is doing exactly what it says on the tin and 6...
